Last Friday, September 30th our elementary school students had their Assembly. The topic was Sustainable Development Goals Workshop presented by Grade 11 and 12 UNICEF club members.
On Friday afternoon, four members of the club, Hina Ueda, Hana Ueda, Ami Oizumi and Daniel Lim, presented an interactive informational workshop to the Elementary School students. The workshop addressed Sustainable Development Goal 3:Good Health and Well Being with a focus on two out of the nine sub topics, Infectious Diseases and Environmental Health. The UNICEF Club presented a slide show accompanied by fun quizzes for the students. The assembly ended with all students participating in a song to initiate the students in thinking more about how to stay active and healthy.
