Yesterday (14 February) ISE Grade 11 students completed their Group 4 Science projects, as part of the IB Diploma Programme. The Group 4 project is a collaborative activity to solve a specific scientific challenge. The class formed 8 groups and worked on a challenge for a total of 10 hours over the past week. They designed their solution, built it, demonstrated it, and provided a readout presentation on the process. There were 4 different challenges across the 8 groups, including building a bridge, a marble run, a paper umbrella and an egg drop container. The students reflected that the projects were challenging, fun, and helped them realize the importance of scientific collaboration.
Our Grade 11 students did a great job. They showed their ideas, plans, teamwork and problem solving skills. We’re so proud of them!
