EAGLES SPORTS

Sport plays a central role in the extra-curricular life of ISE and provides every student with the opportunity to develop to the very best of their physical ability. Every student is able to practice their sporting interests, which helps develop healthy, active lifestyles and social interaction.

Additionally, we believe sport reinforces the key values of passion, respect, perseverance and sportsmanship within every student, which assists them to become positive, resilient and independent individuals who accept challenges and seek new opportunities.

We believe that the challenge of being an ISE sportsperson helps our students to be aspirational in order to become the best version of themselves.

Representative opportunities are available at all levels of our Sports pyramid, beginning with a breadth of experience through our Intra-Mural programme, and those who excel at a particular activity are encouraged to represent ISE in inter-school fixtures, organised by ESAC. At the elite level, our senior teams play in the MRISA leagues, tournaments and many have regular tours overseas.

ISE hosts a number of sports tournaments in a number of sports, including basketball, football and volleyball.

ISE has a strong tradition of overseas competitions in a number of sports, which has provided countless opportunities for our students to enjoy playing sport against different teams and cultures. We enjoy and with success in our overseas MRISA events.

In order to ensure that both students and parents alike are able to keep abreast of the number of clubs and fixtures on offer throughout our busy sports schedule, we have a weekly Sports Bulletin that is sent out on our weekly communication to parents.
