This week, June 8th Dean Madiera from Operation Smile Thailand visited ISE and update students about the mission and progress of Operation Smile in Thailand. He also talked with us about opportunities for our club for next year concerning medical missions. Also this week there was a Webinar called a Dentist’s Journey and some of our students joined. They learned about what it is like to become and be a dentist. These activities have helped the students understand what careers in the medical field are like and to appreciate volunteerism. We look forward to what lies ahead for the ISE Operation Smile club. Make sure you order one of the bags we are selling if you haven’t already.
