Welcome to the International School Eastern Seaboard. At ISE, education is about more than what students know. It is about who they are becoming and how they learn to engage with the world around them.
Our approach is captured in three words: Belong. Discover. Become.
Students must first feel that they belong. A strong sense of belonging gives children the confidence to speak, participate, take risks, and learn from mistakes. We want every student to feel respected, included, and responsible for contributing positively to our community.
From that foundation, students are encouraged to discover. They discover new ideas, interests, strengths, and perspectives through purposeful learning and meaningful experiences. Our classrooms are places where students are expected to think, question, create, collaborate, and take increasing ownership of their learning. Education should not simply provide answers; it should develop the curiosity and judgment to ask better questions.
Ultimately, we want our students to become confident, compassionate, and capable young people. Academic achievement matters, but so do integrity, resilience, adaptability, and the courage to contribute. Our responsibility is to prepare students not only for their next school, course, or university, but also for the choices, relationships, and responsibilities that lie beyond them.

Questions About ISE?
What curriculum does ISE offer?
International School Eastern Seaboard (ISE) is the only American curriculum school on Thailand’s Eastern Seaboard, offering a well-rounded, internationally recognized education.
Our Preschool program (PreK 2–4) follows a Reggio Emilia-inspired approach, encouraging curiosity, creativity, and exploration through play-based learning.
From Kindergarten through Grade 12, our American curriculum is guided by the AERO (American Education Reaches Out) Standards, providing a strong academic foundation while fostering critical thinking, creativity, and independence.
For Grades 11–12, students also have the option to pursue the prestigious International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP), alongside flexible graduation pathways tailored to their individual strengths, interests, and university aspirations.
As a WASC-accredited school, ISE provides students with a globally recognized American high school education that prepares them for universities worldwide.
What ages can join ISE Preschool?
ISE Pre-K is for children ages 2–4. The program is inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach and centers on inquiry, purposeful play, creativity, and exploration.
How does ISE support students learning English?
At ISE, we welcome students from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds and provide a supportive environment where every student can develop confidence and proficiency in English.
Our English as an Additional Language (EAL) program provides targeted language support to help students strengthen their English skills while successfully accessing the American curriculum.
Through individualized instruction, classroom support, and collaboration between EAL specialists and classroom teachers, students develop essential skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening, with a strong emphasis on academic vocabulary, communication, and critical thinking.
Our goal is to help students become confident, independent English speakers and learners, ensuring they can fully participate in classroom learning, build meaningful friendships, and thrive academically and socially.
Does every High School student take the full IB Diploma?
No. Students in Grades 11–12 can choose from three pathways: the ISE High School Diploma, the ISE High School Diploma with IB courses, or the full IB Diploma Programme.
