Robert W. Brewitt, Superintendent

Dr. Brewitt was involved in the founding of ISE in 1993/94 as he  helped to design the school campus, develop the curriculum and hire  the initial faculty. He is happy to become directly associated with  the administration of the school as the Superintendent. Since 1995 he  has worked as a member of Board of Directors of the school  representing Northbridge Communities.

Rob and his wife, Jeannie, have been working in international 
education since 1973. They have taught in schools in Norway, Belgium 
and the Netherlands before coming to Bangkok in 1983. Rob served as 
secondary school principal and then as school superintendent at the 
International School Bangkok (ISB) for 11 years. He was instrumental 
in the building of the new ISB campus in 1992 and the introduction of 
the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program there. After 
leaving ISB, he was the head of the Vienna International School (VIS) 
before joining Northbridge in 1995. VIS is a member of the IBO and 
presents a full International Baccalaureate program for its students.

Rob and Jeannie have two children; Peter, born in the Netherlands and Anne, born in Bangkok. Peter is a graduate of Dartmouth College currently working on a doctorate at the University of California. Anne graduated from Cornell University and is working as the Spa Manager at the Four Seasons Resort in Alexandria, Egypt.

Heather Naro, Elementary School Principal

Heather Naro came to ISE in 2006 after teaching at three other International schools and in Canada. Heather is a native Canadian from Toronto, Ontario. She has extensive experience in elementary education and has taught at both the primary and intermediate levels.
Heather holds a Bachelor's degree in Education from McGill University and a Master's degree in Administration from the University of Ottawa. She 
and her husband, Mitch, have taught at the International School in 
Egypt, the International School Beijing, and the American School in 
Riyadh since 1992.

Heather and Mitch have two children who attend ISE. Justin is in grade 
7 and Sydney is in grade 5. The family enjoys swimming, golf, water 
skiing, and traveling together. Her children are active in the ISE 
community and enjoy participating in the many after school activities 
offered.

About ISE

International School Eastern Seaboard The International School Eastern Seaboard (ISE) an American curriculum, non-sectarian, day school located adjacent to the Burapha Golf Club in Chonburi Province. The school is 30 minutes from Pattaya and Chonburi City. The Laem Chabang deep-sea port and the city of Siracha are 15 minutes away. All industrial estates on the Eastern Seaboard are within easy driving distance. Many of the families live on the Burapha Golf Club and in adjacent golfing communities.

The Burapha Golf club creates a pleasant surrounding for the school community and provides a variety of sports and recreational facilities that are available to the students. The students attend school in a safe and pleasant environment.

ISE serves as a community center for the families living on the Eastern Seaboard. The school offers an after-school activities program for all students. The secondary school students participate in the Mekong Region International School Association (MRISA) exchanges in various sports, art, music, dance and drama.

The school offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma program for students in Grades 11 and 12. Our graduates have attended university in more than 10 countries around the world.

The school offers grades Pre-K3 through 12 and currently enrolls more than 400 students. It is located on the Eastern Seaboard of Thailand (nearby towns include Pattaya, Sriracha, and Ban Chang) and was founded in 1994.

ISE is an IB World School and in 2005, ISE was accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) through the 2011 school year. The school is certified by the Thai Ministry of Education.
