Superintendent’s Message Welcome to the 2010-2011 School Year

Dear Students and Parents,

Everyone at the International School Eastern Seaboard looks forward to another rewarding year as we share in the process of learning among the “parent/student/teacher triangle.”

Each member of the ISE teaching and non-teaching staff is dedicated to educating every child who attends ISE.  We believe in the enormous potential of each child and that we can best reach that potential when a healthy partnership exists between the school and the home.  It is vitally important that the entire family is involved in the educational process.

ISE offers an American curriculum with an international viewpoint.  The academics will challenge each student while allowing for individual differences.  The ISE program also provides numerous co-curricular opportunities that provide students opportunities for success and to gain confidence outside the classroom. 
           
ISE is fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), which assures high standards recognized by North American, Asian and European Universities. ISE is recognized by the Thai Ministry of Education, which enables our graduates to attend Thai universities.
           
I encourage you to review the materials on our website to familiarize yourself with our programs and activities.  The information will help you understand the requirements, expectations and the ISE philosophy.  We encourage your family, students and parents, to take an active role in the programs and opportunities available here at ISE. 
           
All of us here at the International School of the Eastern Seaboard - teachers, support staff and administrators - welcome you as a part of the ISE school community.  We hope every student will make the most of this school year.  I encourage each parent to use available time and talent to assist the school in making this an exceptional international experience for your child.
